William Yeo (1617–1699, son of George Yeo and Susanna Tillard) was one of a number of ministers expelled from the Church of England in the 17th century for expressing nonconformist religious views.
Sheila Yeo researched William’s life and visited the rural location known as ‘Puritan’s Pit’ where he preached to his followers.
William had eight children with his wife Elizabeth, including:
