Simon Yeo (1750–1790, eldest son of Peter Yeo and Ann Ivemay) married Agnes Prout at the parish church of St Mary Magdalene, Launceston in 1774. They baptised six children in the same parish:
– Grace Yeo (1777–1779)
– John Yeo (1778–1779)
– Peter Yeo (see below)
– Jane Yeo (baptised 1787)
– Joseph Yeo (1789–1790)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1790).
Peter Yeo (baptised 1784, son of Simon Yeo and Agnes Prout) joined the Royal Navy and moved to Portsmouth. He married Kezia Elsbury at the parish church of St Mary, Portsea in 1823; they had one son:
– Francis Peter Yeo (see below).
After Kezia’s death in 1850, Peter married Charlotte Selina Hart – no children are recorded from this second marriage. The 1851 census records Peter and Charlotte at 39 York Street in Portsmouth: Peter is described as a ‘superannuated boatswain’, so he was drawing a Navy pension. He died later that year.
Francis Peter Yeo (1825–1883, son of Peter Yeo and Agnes Prout) married Elizabeth Harding in 1846 at the parish church at Alverstoke, Gosport. They had seven children.
