Simon Yeo (1750–1790, eldest son of Peter Yeo and Ann Ivemay) married Agnes Prout at the parish church of St Mary Magdalene, Launceston in 1774. They baptised six children in the same parish:
– Grace Yeo (1777–1779)
– John Yeo (1778–1779)
– Peter Yeo (see below)
– Jane Yeo (baptised 1787)
– Joseph Yeo (1789–1790)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1790).
Peter Yeo (1784–1851, son of Simon Yeo and Agnes Prout) was baptised at St Mary Magdalene, Launceston. He joined the Royal Navy and moved to Portsmouth, marrying Kezia Elsbury [note 1] at the parish church of St Mary, Portsea in 1823. They had a son:
– Francis Peter Yeo (see below).
After Kezia’s death in 1850, Peter married Charlotte Hart [note 2] – no children are recorded from this second marriage. The 1851 census records Peter and Charlotte at 39 York Street in Portsmouth: Peter is described as a ‘superannuated boatswain’ – he was being paid a Navy pension. He died later that year.
Francis Peter Yeo (1825–1883 [note 3], son of Peter Yeo and Kezia Elsbury) married Elizabeth Harding in 1846 at the parish church of St Mary, Alverstoke. They had nine children:

– Francis Joseph Edmund Yeo (1852–1925, married Ellen Layzell)
– Alice Maria Yeo (1856–1885, married James Palmer)
– Henry Yeo (1857–1920, married Rose Gates Doe, six children)
– Alfred Yeo (see below)
– Ellen Yeo (1863–1865)
– Nellie Yeo (1867–1876) [note 4]
– Louisa Yeo (1869–1920, married Harry Unwin)
– Frederick Yeo (1872–1880).
Alfred Yeo (1859–1936, son of Francis Peter Yeo and Elizabeth Harding) married Alice Hunter. They had ten children:
– Alfred Joseph Yeo (1880–1880)
– Alfred Yeo (1881–1953, married Jessie Irene Seaford)
– Frederick Frank Yeo
– James William Yeo (1886–1967, married Eliza Louisa Wallen, five children)
– Harry Yeo (1889–1931)
– Benjamin William Yeo (1889–1953)
– Arthur George Yeo (1894–1961)
– Alice Violet Yeo (1898–1942, married Frederick Lewis Millican)
– Albert Edward Yeo (1899–1899)
– Ada Florinda Yeo (1902–1951, married Charles Dayman).

Notes
1. Née Read, widow of Edward Elsbury, who she married in London in 1903. Edward and Kezia’s son Edward Elsbury (1808–1880) took the surname Yeo after his mother re-married. Edward married Caroline Burnell in 1854 and Sophia Stephens née Bowditch in 1876. He served in the Royal Navy, and is recorded off Portsmouth in the 1861 census on board HMS Asia.
2. Born c1819, later married John Parren at St Mary, Portsea in 1853. Died in 1871.
3. Also recorded as Francis Yeo.
4. Recorded as Nelly Yeo in the 1871 census: the family is living at 53 Brighton Street, Southsea.
