Walter George Yeo (a 28-year-old tailor’s cutter born in England) is recorded in the 1901 census in the household of marine engineer Robert Harvey at 168 University Avenue in the Cromac district of Belfast.
Walter’s birth has been registered at Stratton in the fourth quarter of 1872. His parents were James Yeo and Mary Elizabeth Jewell, and he later returned to Cornwall, dying there in 1944.
