This is a summary of a Wiltshire family that has expanded to several areas of England, as well as overseas. Many Yeo branches descend from it.
Daniel Yeo married Barbara Easton at Steeple Langford in Wiltshire in 1689; they lived at Lyneham and had six children including:
– Daniel Yeo (see below).
Daniel Yeo (1702–1780, youngest son of Daniel Yeo and Barbara Easton) married Elizabeth Townsend at Christian Malford in 1728. They had nine children, including:
– William Yeo (married Jane Andrews, descendants in Birmingham and London)
– Jacob Yeo (see below)
– Thomas Yeo (see below).
Jacob Yeo (1741–1811, son of Daniel Yeo and Elizabeth Townsend) married Elizabeth Seager in Chippenham in 1772. They had six children, including:
– William Yeo (married Adeliza Galifant, descendants in London)
– Jacob Yeo (married Ann Reader, descendants in London and the United States).
Thomas Yeo (1750–1831, youngest son of Daniel Yeo and Elizabeth Townsend) married Ann Butler. They had 12 children, including:
– Jacob Yeo (see below)
– James Yeo (married Eleanor Charlton, descendants in Berkshire and London)
– Joseph Yeo (see below).
Jacob Yeo (1780–1869, son of Thomas Yeo and Ann Butler) married Maria Jefferies. They baptised seven children at Keevil, including:
– Thomas Yeo (married Rebecca Matthews).
Joseph Yeo (1790–1879, son of Thomas Yeo and Ann Butler) married Susanna Burchell. They baptised three children at Lyneham, including:
– John Yeo (married Mary Ann Berriman).
