The groom was a 32-year-old bachelor, whose father Henry Yeo is described on the marriage certificate as a gentleman. The bride was a 30-year-old spinster whose father George Archer is also described as a gentleman. Both parties were resident in the parish, where banns had been read on 17, 24 and 31 August.
