Records of people who might still be alive are hidden from display in search results, although we have made an exception by mentioning a few prominent individuals who already have an online presence.
The protocol we follow for births and baptisms is that the record must be over 100 years old unless there is evidence that the person it relates to has died.
The protocol for marriages is that either:
– both parties to the marriage have died or were born over 100 years ago, or
– the marriage took place over 75 years ago.
