Richard Yeo was baptised at Blisland in 1815, the second son of John Yeo and Eleanor May. He married Rosina Victor at St Neot in 1850; they had eight children there:

– John Henry Yeo (1851–1853)
– Alonzo Yeo (see below)
– Eleanor Yeo (1858–1930, married John Francis Northey)
– John Henry Yeo (see below)
– Richard Headley Yeo (see below)
– Jesse Yeo (1866–1939, married Dinah Lucinda Smith)
– Samson David Yeo (see below)
followed by another son born in Liverpool just before they boarded a ship bound for Canada [note 1]:
– George Lancaster Yeo (1871–1948).
Richard died at Clarke, Ontario in 1883. Rosina died at Oshawa in 1908.
Alonzo Yeo (born at St Neot in 1854, son of Richard Yeo and Rosina Victor) was born at St Neot. He emigrated to Ontario as a young man, and married Phillippa Medland Pooley at Darlington in 1881. They had eight children:
– William Henry Yeo (1882–1958, married Emma Alberta Prout, eight children)
– Richard John Yeo (1884–1947, married Bertha May Short, 11 children)
– Thomas James Yeo (see below)
– Annie Maude Yeo (1889–1889)
– George Russell Yeo (1890–1893)
– Harold Yeo (1892–1892)
– Albert Earnest Yeo (1892–1892)
– Flossie May Yeo (1985–1967, married Oliver Riley Moynes).
Alonzo Yeo died at Oshawa in 1931, surviving his wife Philippa by just over twenty-three years.
John Henry Yeo (1859–1931, son of Richard Yeo and Rosina Victor) was born at St Neot and emigrated with his parents. He married twice, first to Sarah Jane Lewis in 1892; they had three children:
– Edith Rosina Victoria Yeo (1893–1847, married William David Todd)
– Elmsley Lewis Yeo (1895–1962, married Rowena Lynette Baker, two children)
– Ernest Edward Yeo (1903–1967, married Jean Elizabeth Martin, two daughters, died in Oregon).
John’s wife Sarah died in 1919. Two years later, he married Emmeline Hannah Maria Leofolde Sittley [note 2]. No children are recorded from this marriage.
Samson David Yeo (1868–1940, son of Richard Yeo and Rosina Victor) married Isabella Gibson. They had four children in Ontario:
– Frederick Goddard Yeo (c1909–1990, married Ellen Cameron)
– Annie Isabella Yeo (born 1912)
– Marion Eliza Yeo (1914–1923)
– Helen Patricia Yeo (1920–1987, married Gordon Boundy).
Richard Hedley Yeo (1864–1918, son of Richard Yeo and Rosina Victor) married English emigrant Mary Ann Stutts [note 3] at Newcastle, Ontario in 1882. They had a son and a daughter in Ontario:
– George Richard Yeo (1883–1959, married Mary Shannon, died in Alberta)
– Eva Ellen Rosina Yeo (1888–1974, died in British Columbia)
before moving to Saskatchewan and having three further daughters:
– Margaret Anne May Yeo (1890–1962, married George Herbert Sigsworth, died in British Columbia)
– Elizabeth Jackson Yeo (1892–1928, married Roy Bernard Scott, died in Alberta)
– Mary Edith Yeo (1896–1991, died in British Columbia).
Thomas James Yeo (1886–1966, son of Alonzo Yeo and Phillippa Medland Pooley) married Florence Cecilia Manes [note 4]. They had ten children:
– Norman Ernest Yeo (1905–1985)
– Raymond William Yeo (1906–1977, married Annie Pratt 1931 in Oshawa, daughter born 1942)
– Harold Weston Yeo (1908–1908)
– Howard Alonzo Yeo (1910–1910)
– Donald Wesley Yeo (1911–1988, married Doris Mae Dart)
– Arthur Edward Yeo (1913–1997, married Ethel Lena Marie Reinkoester)
– Eva Ruth Yeo (1914–2005, married Roy Stanley Martin)
– Cecil Waverley Yeo (1920–2014, married June Doreen Doyle, son Ronald Cecil Yeo, 1947–1947)
– Roy James Yeo (1927–2011, married Marion Rosina Gray)
– Ruby Yeo (1929–2016, married Douglas Pogue).
