Henry Vivian Yeo – a 57-year-old barrister – is recorded in the 1901 census in Shelbourne Road, Dublin. He is a widower; his 16-year-old daughter Emily Alice Yeo is recorded with him, also two visitors (including his future wife Kathleen Limerick), a cook and a domestic servant.
The 1911 census, when Henry is living at 78 Merrion Road in the Pembroke East district of Dublin contains very similar information, and Kathleen Limerick is again listed.
