A licence was issued at Salisbury on 9 February 1827 for Jesse Yeo (son of Thomas Yeo and Ann Butler) and Sarah Prior to marry. They were both previously unmarried and from Lyneham.
The marriage did not take place immediately; they married at Reading Minster in 1829 and baptised five children at Lyneham before Sarah’s death in 1841 [note 1]:
– Ann Yeo (1832–1919, married John James Yeo at Lyneham in 1856)
– Thomas Yeo (baptised 1833)
– Emma Yeo (baptised 1835)
– Jane Yeo (1837–1838)
– Sarah Yeo (baptised 1839).
