Marian Evelina Ridout was born at 13 Litchfield Street in the Soho area of central London on 11 May 1860 [note 1].
When Marian married James Yeo (1860–1910) at the parish church of St Gabriel, Pimlico in 1889 and when she died in 1912 her forenames were recorded as Marion Elizabeth.
She and James had three children:
– James Frederick Yeo (1890–1958, married Hilda Violet Edith Cove Robbins and Nancy Forehead, six children)
– Amy Marian Yeo (1892–1908)
– Albert Edward Yeo (1903–1978, emigrated to Canada, married Birdie Evelyn Ferguson, four children).
