Apprenticeships in England

There are records of over eighty men and a few women with Yeo or variant surnames who either served apprenticeships or were paid to take on an apprentice between 1591 and 1808. These include James, Oliver and Robert Yeo from Bradworthy, who were apprenticed to haberdashers in London. Their records can be obtained from a commercial web site or through one of two national organisations.
