Isaac Yeo and Eliza Jemhenson

Isaac Yeo (1829–1914, son of Isaac Yeo and Ann Harvey) was a sawyer, as the marriage record from the parish church of St Andrew shows. He was 27 years old, previously unmarried, and living at 7 Bath Cottages.

Eliza was a 32-year-old widow living at 9 Railway Cottages. She had been baptised in the Plymouth parish of Charles the Martyr in 1823 as Eliza Allin Karr [note 1] and had married Luke John Jink Jemhenson [note 2] in Plymouth in 1845.

1. Daughter of labourer Michael Karr of Millbay and his wife Sarah Allen, who had married at Charles the Martyr in 1815. Note spelling of second forename.
2. Surname also recorded as Jempenson. No death record found.
