John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey

John Yeo, son of Francis Yeo and Lucy Young, was baptised at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire in 1738. His line was researched by Sheila in 2018 with correspondent Philip Coward.

John’s parents were from south west England. He returned there, and married Elizabeth Harvey at North Hill in 1765. Their eight children were baptised at North Hill:
– John Yeo (baptised 1766)
– Lucy Yeo (baptised 1768)
– Francis Yeo (see Francis Yeo and Ann Brooking)
– Edward Yeo (see below)
– Richard Yeo (1775–1851, married Mary Landrick, son Richard Landrick Yeo)
– William Yeo (see below)
– Peter Yeo (1780–1783)
– Peter Yeo (baptised 1784, married Elizabeth West, daughter Elizabeth Cosway Yeo).

Edward Yeo (1771–1832), son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey, married Ann Broadlick at Antony in 1791. They had four children:
– Mary Ann Yeo (baptised 1791)
– John Yeo (see below)
– Edward Yeo (see below)
– Elizabeth Yeo (died as a child in 1798).

William Yeo, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey, was baptised at North Hill in 1777. He married Mary Webb at East Stonehouse in 1798 and had four children:
– Elizabeth Yeo (baptised at Plympton St Mary in 1799)
– Mary Yeo (baptised at Plymstock in 1803)
– William John Yeo (baptised at Stoke Damerel in 1805, married Mary Good there in 1838, son William Yeo)
– Francis Yeo [note 1] (married Sarah Jordan, two children).

John Yeo, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Harvey, was baptised at Stoke Damerel in 1794. He married Mary Ann Saunders at East Stonehouse in 1817. They had ten children, including:
John Edward Broderick Yeo
William Sanders Yeo
– George Henry Yeo (1831–1889), who married Mary Ann Knowlson (1839–1908) [note 2] – see John Edward Yeo and Charlotte Emma Allam.

Edward Yeo (1799–1870), married Elizabeth Pappen at St Andrew, Plymouth in 1819. They had three daughters:
– Ann Elizabeth Yeo (born 1820)
– Emma Caroline Yeo (1824–1915)
– Anna Yeo (1829–1890, married Samuel Thomas).
