Warrant officer Daniel Yeo of the Royal Regina Rifles died on 6 June 1944 during the landings at Juno Beach in Normandy. He is buried at the Canadian War Cemetery at Beny-sur-Mer.
Daniel was the third of four sons of John Thomas Yeo and Ann Elizabeth Vincent. He was born in Prince Edward Island on 12 June 1915 and baptised as Richard Daniel Yeo on 27 June. He had married Sheila Catherine Martin in 1943 (there is no record of any children from this marriage).
