Richard Yeo and Loveday Holman

Richard Yeo (1758–1817, son of Humphrey Yeo and Mary Pethick) married Loveday Holman at St Stephen – a parish a short distance north of Launceston – in 1779 . According to research by Sheila Yeo, they baptised two sons at St Stephen:
– Humphrey Yeo (see below)
– Richard Yeo (1782–1837).

Humphrey Yeo (baptised 1779 at St Stephen) baptised four children at St Stephen with his wife Elizabeth [note 1]:
– Sally Yeo (baptised 1812) [note 2]
– John Yeo (baptised 1816)
Richard Yeo
– Thomas Yeo (see below).

Thomas Yeo (baptised 1826 at St Stephen, son of Humphrey and Elizabeth Yeo) married Elizabeth Rowe at the parish church of St Petroc, Bodmin in 1852. They had five children:
– John Yeo (1852–1853)
– Mary Jane Yeo (born 1854)
– Richard Rowe Yeo (1856–1893, married Catherine Shelly Climo) [note 3]
– Thomas Yeo (born 1857)
– John Yeo (born 1860).

1. Marriage record not found.
2. Sally baptised illegitimate children William Yeo and Fanny Yeo at St Stephen in 1829 and 1833 respectively. She is recorded as ‘of the poor house’ in the 1833 baptism record.
3. Richard’s widow Catherine re-married in 1896, to Thomas Sage, and lived until 1933.
