Thomas Yeo (1838–1905, son of Robert Yeo and Ann Webber [note 1]) was born at Belper in Derbyshire. He married Helen Margaret Farquhar [note 2] in Hampstead in 1877; they had six children:
– Helen Mary Yeo (1880–1965, married Hugh Fletcher)
– Thomas Farquhar Yeo (1881–1921, died in New Zealand)
– Robert Arthur Farquhar Yeo (1883–1888)
– Gladys Yeo (1885–1970, married Conrad Francis Simons)
– Ivy Margaret Yeo (1885–1985, married George Henry Errington and John Crompton)
– Leslie Farquhar Yeo (1893–1915) [note 3].
