Albert William Stewart Stokes married Kate Yeo in London in 1910, at the parish church of St James, Paddington. Their marriage certificate records the groom as a 26-year-old bachelor, a compositor [note 1] of 20 Devonshire Terrace. Kate is 24, also of 20 Devonshire Terrace and previously unmarried; her father is recorded as Frederick Fullerton Yeo, a carver and turner [note 2].
Albert and Kate emigrated to Canada, where Kate died in 1974.
