Alfred James Yeo (born 1894, son of James Yeo and Ellen Bryant) married Gwladus Jane Harries in Essex in 1924, at a Primitive Methodist ceremony [note 1]. But they also appeared to marry in Glamorganshire the following year [note 2]. Can anyone shed light on these apparently conflicting marriage records? Was the first marriage invalid as a registrar did not attend?
Alfred and Gwladus had two daughters:
– Valerie Ann Yeo (1934–2012, married Bernard Keith Browning)
– Marilyn Yeo (1938–1938).
