The death of 51-year-old Agnes H.M. Yaw at sea on 2 September 1876 was one of ten deaths recorded on a single voyage of the Dunedin, a fast sailing ship bound for New Zealand with emigrant passengers.
She appears to have died from a disease of the heart and lungs. There is no indication whether she was married.
