The following announcement appeared on 11 July 1986 in the Legal Notices section of the Bristol Evening Post:
‘Re: Donald Edward James Grimley deceased. Pursuant to the Trustee Act 1925. Notice is hereby given that any person having a claim against or an interest in the Estate of Donald Edward James Grimley late of Welsman Elderly People’s Home, Bishop Street, St. Paul’s, Bristol, Avon who died on the 7th day of May 1986, and whose Will was proved at the Bristol District Probate Registry on the 4th day of July 1986, by Cyril Alfred Yeo and David Michael Rendell the Executors named in the said Will is hereby required to send particulars in writing of his claim or interest to undersigned, the Solicitor for the said Executors on or before the 26th day of September 1986, after which date the Executors will proceed to distribute the assets of the said Deceased amongst the persons entitled thereto having regard only to the claims and interests of which they shall then have had notice. Dated this 7th day of July 1986. Veale Benson, 14 Orchard Street, Bristol BS1 5ER. Solicitor for the said Executors.’
Cyril Alfred Yeo (1925–2012, only son of Courtney Cyril Yeo and Phyllis May Howard) was born at Holsworthy and was known as Alfred. He did not marry; he qualified as a solicitor in Exeter and later worked and lived in Bristol.
