Daniel Yeo (1814–1907) was baptised at Launcells to parents Chammond Yeo and Margery Sharsell. Gordon Crockford supplied information about this line in 2021, which added context to earlier research by Humphrey Toms and Reg Walter.
Daniel emigrated to Canada, and married Maria Kinsman in Hope, Ontario in 1835. They had six children:
– James Yeo (born 1838)
– Ann Yeo (born 1840)
– Thomas Channon Yeo (see below)
– Mary Jane Yeo (born 1846)
– Margaret Ellen Yeo (born 1850)
– Daniel Henry Yeo (1852–1916 [note 1], married Nellie May Struthers, three children).
Thomas Channon Yeo (1845–1920, son of Daniel Yeo and Maria Kinsman) married Emily Shobrooke Metherell in 1872. They had two sons:
– William Daniel Yeo (1874–1920)
– Thomas Channon Yeo (see below).
Thomas Channon Yeo (1870–1943, son of Thomas Channon Yeo and Emily Shobrooke Metherell) married Margaret Christina Gibbon. Their five children were born at Parry Sound, Ontario:
– Grace Edith Yeo (1893–1960, married twice)
– Elsie Emily Yeo (1894–1968)
– Jennie Elmslie Yeo (1897–1976, married Kenneth John Crockford)
– Mary Louisa Yeo (1900–1906)
– William David Yeo (see below).
William David Yeo (1905–1988, son of Thomas Channon Yeo and Margaret Christina Gibbon) married Bessie Teresa Alcox. They had a son:
– Melvyn William Yeo (1927–1996, married Charlotte Jessie Todd).
