Daniel Yeo was baptised at Launcells in 1814 to parents Chammond Yeo and Margery Sharsell. Gordon Crockford supplied information about this line in 2021, which added context to earlier research by Humphrey Toms and Reg Walter.
Daniel emigrated, and married Maria Kinsman in Hope, Ontario in 1835. They had six children:
– James Yeo (born 1838)
– Ann Yeo (born 1840)
– Thomas Channon Yeo (1845–1920, married Emily Shobrooke Metherell, two sons)
– Mary Jane Yeo (born 1846)
– Margaret Ellen Yeo (born 1850)
– Daniel Henry Yeo (1852–1916, married Nellie May Struthers, three children).
