William John Yeo (1869–1950) was born at Woodstock, Ontario. He married English emigrant Jessie Kate Bowering in Archie, Manitoba in 1904. Their nine children were born at Fleming, Saskatchewan [note 1]:
– Arthur William Yeo (1907–1993)
– Marguerite Althea Yeo (1908–1945, married Harold Everton Flynn)
– Ernest John Yeo (1909–2006, married Thelma McMullen)
– Reginald Harry Yeo (see below)
– Charles Francis Yeo (1912–2004) [note 2]
– Edward Clifford Yeo (1915–2006, married Christina Bradbury)
– Mary Kathleen Yeo (1919–2007, married Robert G. Findlay)
– James Alexander Yeo (1921–2010, married Patricia Alma Marshall)
– Vera Yeo (1923–1925).
Reginald Harry Yeo (1909–1991, son of William John Yeo and Jessie Kate Bowering) married Alice Georgina Mary Perry. They had a daughter:
– Grace Gwendoline Yeo (1933–2017, married William Donald Faulkner).
Sheila Yeo recorded this family, but was unable to identify William’s line of descent. In correspondence with Bob Yeo she speculated that he might be a son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Reed of Werrington, who emigrated in 1846, but William does not fit the pedigree for them on this site. Can anyone comment on this?
