John Tanton and Sarah Ann Yeo married at Barnstaple Register Office in 1892 [note 1]. They were both previously unmarried.
Sarah Ann was born at Swimbridge in 1873 to parents George Yeo and Eliza Buzzacott. She had a son George White Yeo [note 2] before she married, and had at least fifteen children with her husband John. She was a widow by 1939, and lived until 1968.
