Yeo descendant Michael Ellard corresponded with Sheila in 2007 about a Yeo family in the town of Torbay, Newfoundland from the 1860s to the early 20th century. Their surname is sometimes recorded as Yeogh.
A John Yeo married Mary Hawco at Chapel Cove, Newfoundland in the second decade of the 20th century.
