Patience Ann Watts died in 1899 at Kensington Infirmary in London. Her age was recorded as 60 when her death was registered, but she was 68 years old.
Patience lived in a mews off Marloes Road in Kensington with her husband James Watts, a coachman, who she married in 1870.
Patience was baptised in 1832 to single mother Hannah Yeo. The register entry – from the parish church of St Michael and All Angels at Lyneham, Wiltshire – notes that she was 50 weeks old and does not include a second forename.
