William Yeo (baptised 1764, son of Robert Yeo and Elizabeth Bennett of Sampford Courtenay) married Ann Dawes at Black Torrington in 1791 [note 1]. Their eight children were baptised at Sampford Courtenay:

John Yeo (1802–1879, son of William Yeo and Ann Dawes) married Hannah Coles. They baptised eight children at nonconformist ceremonies in Taunton, where John worked as a shoemaker:

William Yeo (baptised in 1805 at Sampford Courtenay, son of William Yeo and Ann Dawes) married Jane Brealy in 1835. They had five children:

– William Yeo (born 1841, married Susan Westlake, five children)
– Mary Ann Yeo (born 1843, married John Horne)

Caroline Yeo was born in Taunton in 1848, the youngest daughter of John Yeo and Hannah Coles. She moved to London, married twice, and died in Buckinghamshire in 1913. Her first marriage was to Samuel Quick in 1876: Samuel ran the Maypole Inn at Hitcham, they had no children and Samuel died in 1898. Caroline’s second marriage was in 1905 to widower William Horwood; she died eight years later.

John Yeo (1847–1903, married Elizabeth Watkins Blatchford at Moretonhampstead in 1870. They had five children [note 2]:

– Ellen Yeo (1880–1943, married Charles Edward Gillard)
– Ernest John Yeo (born 1883)
