Frank Yeo – born in 1877, the fourth son and one of ten children of Richard Yeo (1832–1897) and Elizabeth Bassett – died at St Veep in 1916 at the age of 39. He was unmarried and worked as a market gardener.
Frank’s grandparents were Samuel Yeo (1802–1879) and Elizabeth Curtis. His line of descent can be traced back to John Yeo and Martha Hambling of Stratton – see A Butcher from Hill Head?
