We are also keen to find out how the site performs in different browsers and operating systems, and on iPads and other tablets. The pages containing searchable records run slowly or do not display properly on some mobile phones and tablets, but most of the other pages should behave correctly.
In April 2026 an error message was displayed on some systems, stating that a critical error had occurred. The cause of this has been resolved.
Users of some Windows operating systems who do not have PDF viewing software installed may find that when they click on a link to a PDF file it will download rather than open. This behaviour is beyond our control, but it can be fixed by installing a PDF viewer.
