The New England Historical and Genealogical Register for July 1935 records, on page 220, a number of emigrants who left the Port of London in October 1774 on the SS Sims, bound for Maryland. The list includes 21-year-old John Yeo from Middlesex. His occupation is given as carpenter and joiner.
