George Yeo (1769–1845) was baptised at Holsworthy [note 1] to parents George and Elizabeth Yeo [note 2]. He married twice.
George’s first marriage was to Ann Patterson in London in 1795, at the parish church of St Martin-in-the-Fields. There is no record of any children from this marriage, although Patterson was used as a forename for two children from George’s second marriage.
George’s second marriage was to Elizabeth Barnsby at the parish church in Tenterden, Kent in 1802. They had five children, who were all baptised on the same day in 1815 at the parish church in Rye, Sussex:
– George Patterson Yeo (1802–1825)
– James Yeo
– William Yeo (born 1808)
– Ann Patterson Yeo (1811–1889, married William Tiltman 1836)
– Richard Macartney Yeo (born 1814).

Notes
1. Baptised on the same day (15 March 1769) as his twin brother James Yeo. Did James marry Susanna Patterson and baptise a son George Patterson Yeo?
2. Parents’ names as recorded in the baptism record. Can anyone identify them?
