Owen George Yeo (1892–1954) was a grandson of George Yeo and Jane Hill. See under Joseph Yeo and Ann Westcott.
He married Annie Balsom at Newton Abbot in 1914. They had nine children:
– Evelyn May Yeo (born 1914, married Reginald Mayes)
– Herbert Owen Yeo (1916–1980, married Marjorie Hillman, six children)
– William Percival Yeo (1918–1988, married Edna Riley, two children)
– Phyllis Maud Yeo (born 1921, married Glyn Watkins)
– Owen George Henry Yeo (1922–1923)
– Betsy Mary Yeo (born 1927, married Raymond Lees)
– Owen Ernest Yeo (born 1928, married Sylvia Harris, two children)
– Derek Richard Yeo (born 1930, married Joan Eden)
– Terence Percival Yeo (born 1934, married Audrey Merrifield, two daughters).
The 1939 Register records Owen and Annie at 14 Barton Hill Road in Torquay. Owen is a 47-year-old assistant storekeeper, Annie is also 47, and seven of their children are living with them.
