Robert Yeo (1781–1842) was a great grandson of Robert Yeo and Margaret Brown of Merton. He married Elizabeth Westaway, a great granddaughter of John Westaway and Joan Battishall of South Tawton.
Robert and Elizabeth married at South Tawton in 1803 and baptised their first son there:
– John Yeo (baptised 1801, died as a child)
before moving to Stoke Damerel. Their other eight children were:
– John Yeo (see John Yeo and Emma Allamby)
– Betty Yeo (baptised 1808)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1811)
– William Yeo (1813–1876, married Elizabeth Fullerton at Antony in 1836, nine children including Frederick Yeo, who married Mary Jane Lock, and Charles Yeo see below)
– Robert Yeo (baptised 1816)
– George Yeo (1819–1832)
– Eliza Yeo (1820–1822)
– Eliza Yeo (1823–1834).
Charles Yeo (born 1851, son of William Yeo and Elizabeth Fullerton) married Ellen Florence Pearce at the parish church of St Mary, Devonport in 1879. They had five children:
– Ernest Charles Yeo (1880–1948, married Emma Bowhay Westcott and Amy Florence Holman)
– Ada Mary Yeo
– Hilda May Yeo (1884–1949, married Charles William Pethick)
– William Stanley Yeo (1887–1948, married Rosa Sarah Duncan and Rosalie Marion Kate Sowden) [note 1]
– Violet Florence Yeo (1896–1942, married Thomas George Jeffery).
