The Cornish Guardian published a brief report on 3 October 1940 of the funeral of Elizabeth Rosewall, held at the Methodist Church at St Newlyn East near Newquay. The report describes her as the 78-year-old widow of Josiah Rosewall [note 1].
Elizabeth Mary Yeo had been born at Duloe in 1862 to parents Thomas Henry Yeo [note 2] and Ann Meech, whose three other children were:
– Catherine Meech Yeo (born 1863)
– Samuel Yeo (1866–1945, married Jane Ede, five children)
– William Henry Yeo (1868–1890).
Elizabeth had a son Ernest Stanley Yeo [note 2] before marrying Josiah Rosewall in 1900.
