Monica’s home address is given as 4 Oswald Way, Acton Park, Wrexham; she and her son are recorded as dependants of Thomas Russell of Kansas.
Monica Yeo’s marriage to American soldier Thomas Lyon Russell had been registered at Wrexham the previous year.
Monica’s parents Henry Spencer Yeo (1887–1935, son of Henry Yeo and Catherine Annie Spencer Beare) had married Eva Newns in County Durham in 1915. They had three children:
– Harold Spencer Yeo (1916–2007, married Dorothy Jones, no recorded children)
– Donald Yeo (1919–1940 [note 2])
– Monica Yeo (1921–1978, married Thomas Lyon Russell).
