The 1939 Register for the Glamorganshire village of Gelligaer records John R Yeo and his wife Mona at 10 Church Street.
John is 52 and is working as a dentist. He was born John Richard Yeo in 1886 to parents Richard Yeo and Caroline Freeman, and died in 1961.
Mona is 29 according to the date of birth shown for her, but she was 31 so this is understated by two years – her birth as Meiriona Bowen was registered in 1907. She survived John by some 42 years, dying in 2003. They do not appear to have had any children.
