The 1939 Register records Isaac Yeo at 169 Somerset Road in Southall, west London. He was born in 1876 and is working as a boiler hand in a factory. Listed with him are his wife Gertrude E Yeo (born 1889) and her three children: Gladys G Hollands (born 1910), Wallis G Hollands (born 1915) and Maisie Hollands (born 1922).
Edith had been baptised at Sherborne in Dorset as Edith Gertrude Rogers Maisey, and was later recorded either as Edith Gertrude or Gertrude Edith (without Rogers, a name from her father). She married Henry Alfred Hollands in 1910; after his death in 1932 she married Isaac Yeo in 1934. They did not have children.
Isaac had been born in Devon in 1876, the youngest of seven children of James Yeo and Susanna Martin. He died in Southall in 1962.
