Daniel Yeo (1655–1722, son of John and Joan Yeo) married Barbara Easton at Steeple Langford in Wiltshire in 1689; they baptised six children at Lyneham:
– John Yeo (baptised 1689, one daughter)
– Mary Yeo (1692–1762)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1694, died as an infant)
– Ann Yeo (baptised 1696)
– Daniel Yeo (baptised 1699, died as an infant)

Daniel Yeo (1702–1780, youngest son of Daniel Yeo and Barbara Easton) married Elizabeth Townsend at Christian Malford in 1728. They lived in Lyneham [note 1] and baptised nine children there:
– Jemima Yeo (1728–1797, married William Jacob) [note 2]

Daniel Yeo (1733–1809, eldest son of Daniel Yeo and Elizabeth Townsend) was baptised at Lyneham in 1733. There were no children from his first marriage, to Mary Broom at Castle Coombe in 1763. He then married Sarah Buoy at Castle Coombe in 1775; they baptised five children there:

– Mary Yeo (1777–1858, married William Milsom)
– Rebekah Yeo (baptised 1780)
– Hester Yeo (baptised 1782)

Jacob Yeo (1741–1811, son of Daniel Yeo and Elizabeth Townsend) married Elizabeth Seager in Chippenham in 1772. They had six children in Wiltshire:

Thomas Yeo (1750–1831, youngest son of Daniel Yeo and Elizabeth Townsend) worked as a carpenter. He married Ann Butler at Lyneham in 1776; they baptised 12 children there:

Jacob Yeo (1780–1869, son of Thomas Yeo and Ann Butler) married Maria Jefferies at the parish church at Keevil, Wiltshire in 1811. They baptised seven children in the same church:

William Yeo (born c1795, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Goodchap) moved to London and had six children with his wife Sarah [note 10]:

Hannah Yeo (1797–1872, daughter of Thomas Yeo and Ann Butler) was baptised at Lyneham. She had a daughter Patience Ann Yeo, and some years later Hannah married William Clark [note 12].
Henry Yeo (born 1803, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Goodchap) married Susannah Friend. They baptised three children at the parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Plaistow [note 13]:

– Susanna Elizabeth Yeo (1838–1878, married Edmund Law).
Edward Yeo (baptised 1806 at West Ham, son of John Yeo and Elizabeth Goodchap) married Elizabeth Merry. They had two daughters:
– Elizabeth Goodchap Yeo (1838–1912, married Isaac Brain)
– Mary Ann Yeo (1842–1914, married Job Cadmore and David Collier).
Joseph Yeo (1820–1861, son of Joseph and Mary Yeo) married Ellen Fitzpatrick [note 15] at the parish church of All Saints, Poplar in 1850. They lived at Plaistow and had five children [note 16]:

Henry Yeo (1882–1933, son of Joseph Yeo and Charlotte Griffiths) married Jane Ann Bruce. The births of their eight children were registered at West Ham:

2. Jemima’s forename requires confirmation. She appears to have been baptised as Amy Yeo.

5. Did Jacob marry Elizabeth Palmer at the parish church of St Mary Magdalene, East Ham in 1834?
6. Ann’s death was registered as Ann Ayres (Cricklade registration district).
7. Their marriage certificate records John as a widower, which might have been inaccurate as no record of a previous marriage has been found.
8. Mary’s surname has not been identified – she died in 1848 at the age of 51, and might have been born in Ireland. Mary’s husband Joseph Yeo and her son Joseph Yeo both died before the 1861 census was taken. Baptism records for her children Eliza and Mary Ann have not been found; her daughter Elizabeth was baptised at All Saints, West Ham with her father recorded as Joseph Henry Yeo.

10. Marriage record not found; Sarah’s surname not known. Their children Eliza, William, John and Sarah were baptised at St Mary the Virgin, Plastow. Lewis and George were baptised at All Saints, West Ham.
11. The 1871 census records George and Eliza at 5 East Hill, Dartford. George is working as a printer and they have two children.
12. William and Hannah married in 1850. The location of the marriage is not clear; it might have taken place at Cricklade (Sheila Yeo recorded that Hannah married Richard Gough, but no record of this marriage has been found – perhaps Richard was Patience’s father?). The 1851 census lists William and Hannah (aged 45 and 50 respectively) at Freegrove, Lyneham, where William is an agricultural labourer born at Barrowend, Lyneham. William died in 1877 (death registered at Chippenham).

14. Recorded as Emma Yeo when she married at St Mary, Plaistow in 1859.
15. Little is known about Joseph’s wife Ellen. She was widowed in 1861 and might have re-married.
16. Children from research by Sheila Yeo. Joseph’s birth was registered at West Ham in 1852; Henry and Mary’s births preceded their parents’ marriage and were registered with the surname Fitzpatrick. Ellen and Jane’s birth dates as shown also preceded their parents’ marriage but there appear to be no supporting registration records. Henry Yeo (age 11), Mary Yeo (age 5) and Jane Yeo (age 1) are listed with their parents in the 1851 census at 18 Balaam Street, Plaistow.
