William Yea (1801–1865 [note 1]) married Mary Webber at East Ogwell in 1828. They had four children:
– Mary Ann Yea (c1832–1904, married John Marley) [note 2]
– David Yea (see below)
– Henry Yea (see below)
– Joseph Yea (1837–1867).
David Yea (1832–1916, son of William Yea and Mary Webber) married Emma Rossiter at East Ogwell in 1857. They had two children:
– Harry Rossiter Yea (born 1866)
– Mary Catherine Yea (1868–1940, married William Henry Tolhurst).
Henry Yea (1834–1901, son of William Yea and Mary Webber) married Ann Cleave at East Ogwell in 1853. They had eight children:
– George Cleave Yea (1854–1889, married Isabella Thomas, five children)
– William Henry Cleave Yea (1856–1926, married Martha Ann Davy and Ellen Down)
– Enoch Cleave Yea (1859–1929, married Sarah Grace Nickels, four children)
– Alfred Yea (1863–1931 [note 3], married Maria Prowse née Perrem and Hannah Neale, seven children)
– Francis David Yea (1865–1951, married Jessie Gough, eleven children)
– Frederick Cleave Yea (1867–1940, married Mary Jane Trevelyan)
– Blanche Cleave Yea (1869–1947, married George Hicks) [note 4]
– May Rose Yea (1875–1939, married Thomas Cook).
