The 1939 Register for the Devon village of Uffculme records three unmarried people living at 8 Church Terrace – Leonard G. Yeo is 53 and is recorded as a packer in a paper factory, Ann E. Yeo is 69 and is recorded as ‘incapacitated domestic’, Emily B. Yeo is 67 and is recorded as ‘unpaid domestic’.
Leonard George Yeo was born in 1886 to parents William Yaw and Harriet Foweraker [note 1]. Ann Elliot Yeo and Emily Bessie Yeo were his sisters [note 2]. They were all born at Silverton.
