Edmund Yeo (c1620–1667, youngest son of Edmund Yeo and Elizabeth Killigrew) appears to have married twice. The baptism records for Chittlehampton show him as the father of these five children:
– Edmund Yeo (see below)
– Gartrude Yeo (baptised 1654)
– Hugh Yeo (1655–1668)
– Susanna Yeo (baptised 1657)
– Dorothy Yeo (baptised 1658).
Edmond then appears to have married Jane Pyne at Chittlehampton in 1663. No children from this second marriage have been found.
Edmund Yeo (c1649–1717, son of Edmund Yeo of Chittlehampton), lived in the parishes of Huish and Dolton. He first married Elizabeth Hooper at Dolton in 1686; they baptised their eldest son at Dolton and four further children at Huish:
– Henry Yeo (baptised 1687)
– Robert Yeo (baptised 1691, married Agnes Dennis, two children)
– John Yeo (bap 1694, married Mary Whitfield, two children)
– Mary Yeo (baptised 1696)
– Thomas Yeo (1698–1699)
Elizabeth died in 1699 and Edmond re-married. With his second wife Jane [note 1] he had one son:
– Thomas Yeo (see below).
Thomas Yeo (1701–1762 [note 2], son of Edmund and Jane Yeo) married Agnes Whitfield at Clovelly in 1732 and baptised six children there:
– James Yeo (baptised 1732)
– Thomas Yeo (baptised 1736, married Mary Hodge)
– Mary Yeo (baptised 1742)
– Elizabeth Yeo (baptised 1743)
– Richard Yeo (see below)
– Agnes Yeo (baptised 1753).
Richard Yeo (1746–1800, son of Thomas Yeo and Agnes Whitfield) married Elizabeth Hopton at St Nicholas, Bristol in 1781. They had one son:
– Robert James Yeo (see Robert James Yeo, lighthouse keeper in Jamaica).
