The 1841 census for England and Wales was taken on 6 June. There are 1172 records for Yeo and variant surnames [note 1]. The census can be searched at Ancestry or FindMyPast. The presentation of the 1841 census, which has been described as the first modern census, differs in two respects from later censuses:
