This couple married in London in 1910, at the parish church of St James, Paddington. Their marriage certificate records the groom as a 26-year-old bachelor, a compositor of 20 Devonshire Terrace. Kate is 24, also of 20 Devonshire Terrace and previously unmarried; her father is recorded as Frederick Fullerton Yeo, a carver and turner.
Kate had been born in Plymouth in 1886 to parents Frederick Yeo [note 1] and Mary Jane Lock and was the fourth of their seven children [note 2]. Other than on this marriage certificate, there is no record of her father having the second forename Fullerton, though Fullerton was the birth surname of Kate’s paternal grandfather and Frederick Fullerton Yeo was the name given to Kate’s brother.
Albert and Kate emigrated to Canada, where Kate died in 1974.
