John Yeo, an innkeeper in Stratton, married Em Bant at nearby Poughill in 1659. They had seven children:
– Thomas Yeo (see below)
– John Yeo (married Deborah Vowler, three children, died 1715)
– Eleanor Yeo (1666–1737, married John Irving)
– Emme Yeo (baptised 1670)
– Charles Yeo (baptised 1672)
– Richard Yeo (cordwainer in Stratton, died 1697)
– Robert Yeo (baptised 1702).
Thomas Yeo, son of John Yeo and Em Bant, married Susannah Davey at Stratton in 1690 and died in 1746. He and Em had three children:
– Dorcas Yeo (baptised 1692, marred Richard Cornish)
– Anstis Yeo (a daughter, baptised 1697)
– Thomas Yeo (1701–1735).
