This couple married at the parish church of St Paul, Weymouth in 1916. The groom was a bachelor from nearby Wyke Regis, son of coppersmith Harry Payne. The bride was a spinster, daughter of Naval instructor Matthew Furborrow deceased.
Katherine Eliza Yeo Furborrow (1894–1970) was the only daughter of Matthew Furborrow and Harriet Sarah Yeo, and a granddaughter of Thomas Yeo and Eliza Marks Endacott.
Thomas Yeo (1838–1895, son of John Yeo and Mary Banbury) was a tailor in Okehampton, and executor of his father John Yeo. He had married Eliza Marks Endacott in 1862. They had six daughters and a son:
– Harriett Sarah Yeo (1862–1942, married Matthew Furborrow and Robert Henry Score)
– Lydia Mary Yeo (1864–1940, married Frederick James Anderson Bellett)
– Selina Annie Yeo (1867–1904, married Robert Edward Farley)
– John Yeo (1870–1880)
– Emily Laura Yeo (1873–1949, married William Northway Ley)
– Amelia Eliza Yeo (1875–1876)
– Florence Kate Banbury Yeo (1880–1959, married John Wimpey).
