This couple married in Lorne, Manitoba in 1937. Mildred was the third of five children of James Edwin Yeo and his first wife Lily May Hunt [note 1].
Mildred’s father James Edwin Yeo (1884–1973) was born in Hepworth, Ontario to parents Samuel Yeo and Mary Jane Hambley. He re-married in the 1920s [note 2].
