David Yea married Joan Brewer at Brompton Ralph in 1720.
The fourth of their nine children was William Yea (1727–1806), who benefited from his family’s accumulated wealth and was made a baronet in 1759 by King George II.
William Yea and his wife Julia Trevelyan had six children; the baronetcy passed to their grandson William Walter Yea (1784–1862) and to their great grandson Henry Lacy Yea (1798–1864).
