Henry Yeo, the fourth son of John Yeo and Joan Basthon, was baptised at West Buckland in 1758. He married Elizabeth Blackmore at Shirwell in 1790 and baptised three sons there:
– William Yeo (see below)
– John Yeo (1793–1795)
– Henry Yeo (see below).
William Yeo (baptised 1791 at Shirwell, son of Henry Yeo and Elizabeth Blackmore) married twice. There were no children from his first marriage, to Mary Harding at Kentisbury in 1816. William’s second marriage was to Mary Hogg [note 1], with whom he had two sons:
– John Blackmore Yeo (see below)
– William Yeo (born 1845, married Matilda Annie Tucker, two children).
John Blackmore Yeo (1842–1921, son of William Yeo and Mary Hogg) married Susan Tucker at Arlington in 1865. They had four children in Devon:
– Mary Blackmore Yeo (born 1866)
– Tom Yeo (born 1869, died as an infant)
– John Blackmore Yeo (see below)
– Fred Yeo (1873–1952, married Susan Squires, three children)
before moving to south Wales, where they had three further children:
– Thomas Yeo (1876–1950, married Annie Pyburn, four children)
– Albert Yeo (born 1884–1952, married Mary Winifred Veronica Foley, four children)
– Edith Emily Yeo (1887–1960, married Thomas Jones).
John Blackmore Yeo (1871–1950, son of John Blackmore Yeo and Susan Tucker) remained in south Wales, where he married Margaret Rees in 1897. They had six children:
– Elsie May Yeo (born 1901)
– John Lonsdale Yeo (1909–1963, married Harriet Jane Clarke, two children)
– Mary Florence Yeo (1899–1966, married Frederick Wedlake)
– Doris Yeo (1902–1938, married Harold Roberts)
– Violet Lilian Yeo (born 1905)
– Lonsdale Yeo (born 1910).
Henry Yeo (1795–1878, son of Henry Yeo and Elizabeth Blackmore) married Ann Barrow at East Down in 1821. Henry and Ann lived at Arlington and had eleven children there:
– Elizabeth Yeo (baptised 1821, married Anthony Pugsley)
– John Yeo (baptised 1822, married Mary Ann Squire Yendle, three children including Martha Yendle Yeo)
– Mary Yeo (baptised 1825, married John Pugsley)
– Henry Yeo (1831–1918, married Elizabeth Barry, two sons)
– George Yeo (see below)
– Jane Yeo (baptised 1835)
– James Yeo (1836–1837)
– Eliza Yeo (born 1837)
– Harriet Yeo (born 1839)
– Lucy Yeo (born 1840)
– Samuel Yeo (1841–1898, married Ann Gammon, two children).
George Yeo (1833–1893, son of Henry Yeo and Ann Barrow) married his sister-in-law Elizabeth Squire Yendle in 1857. They had three children:
– Francis Yeo (1853–1881, married Martha Hazard, two daughters)
– Lydia Bessie Yeo (1859–1933, married William Mortimer)
– William Yendle Yeo.
