William Yea [note 1] married Eleanor Parnell at Kingkerswell in 1816. They had eight children:
– Elizabeth Yea (1818–1850, married Richard Harding Holman)
– John Yea (baptised 1819 at Woodbury, married Elizabeth Jenkins née Owen) [note 2]
– James Yea (see below)
– Harriet Vera Yea (1822–1886, married William Sharland)
– Robert Yea (1824–1894, married Catherine Cumming Wootton) LINK
– Hannah Yea (1827–1886, married Worthyman Lathrope)
– Mary Ann Yea (baptised 1829 at Tormoham)
– William Yea (baptised 1831 at Tormoham)
James Yea (1821–1894, son of William Yea and Eleanor Parnell) married Sarah Parnell [note 3] in Torquay in 1852. They had nine children:
– Daniel Parnell Yea
– William James Yea
– Robert Yea (1856–1858)
– Henry Widger Yea
– Albert Yea (1862–1865)
– Alice Ellen Parnell Yea (1863–1942, married John Randolph Hingston)
– Ellen Marrina Yea (1864–1914, married Ernest John Bell)
– Leah Yea (1869–1894, married Fred Macey)
– Albert James Yea (see below).
Albert James Yea (1871–1949, son of James Yea and Sarah Parnell) married twice. He married Edith Avis Strathmore Pearce in 1894. They had a daughter:
– Edith Avis Yea (1895–1989, married Harold Taylor).
Albert’s wife Edith died in 1895; six years later he married Mary Jane Page Hill. No children are recorded from this marriage.

2. No record of John’s death has been found. Elizabeth’s death was registered at Bristol in 1899.
