Edmund Leighton Yeo (1904–1940) was born at Farlington in Hampshire to parents Gerald Yeo and Mabel Leighton.
Edmund married Diana Mary Reid (1908–1990) in London in 1934; there is no record of their having any children. The 1939 Register lists them at 43 Pembroke Square, Earls Court, with Edmund’s occupation recorded as a solicitor. Also in the household is 30-year-old domestic servant Johanna Scheefers.
After Edmund’s death, Diana married Gerald Adams in Ceylon in 1948. She later returned to England, and died in Hampshire.
