Evelyn Claudia Yeo de Marseille (1884–1955) was born in Wales. Her father was Louis de Marseille [note 1] and her mother was Elizabeth Annice Yeo [note 2].
Her father had died by the time the 1901 census was taken; Evelyn and her mother were living in Fleetwood, Lancashire. When she married Emanuel Wilson the following year she was given away by her grandfather William Sanders Yeo. A local newspaper [note 3] carried a lengthy report of the wedding.
